Wish List No. 1

Tomorrow marks the beginning of Christmas Season here in the Philippines.  September 1 is always the gateway to cold weather and Christmas carols in the air.  

I decided to make a list of the 12 Things I would love to have before Christmas 2011.  A post about my wishlist once a week, every Wednesday.  On the 23rd of November, I will finally complete my wishlist and so I have another whole month to buy, if not all, at least half of what I have on the LIST.

And so as for my 1st Wish List...I have received a newsletter about the new DC Comics to be released this September.  And on this email, there is a link on Converse Shoes - Heroes Theme.  And I found this:

Big Part po ma'am

    We ordered a bucket of chicken joy.  I specifically requested for "breast part".  The order taker told me she'll put a note on it but can not assure me that it'll be followed.  Then after 30 minutes, here comes the delivery guy.  He said "Here's your bucket of chicken joy classic - BIG PART".  I was so ecstatic when I saw that when he say "big part", he means BIG PART!  Check it out!

Cutting hair, shaving, going for outings and hanging clothes outside the house are among the things people should avoid doing at night throughout the Hungry Ghost Festival.

What is Hungry Ghost Month?

The Ghost Festival, also known as the Hungry Ghost Festival, is a traditional Chinese festival and holiday celebrated by Chinese in many countries. In the Chinese calendar (a lunisolar calendar), the Ghost Festival is on the 15th night of the seventh lunar month (14th in southern China).

In Chinese tradition, the fifteenth day of the seventh month in the lunar calendar is called Ghost Day and the seventh month in general is regarded as the Ghost Month (鬼月), in which ghosts and spirits, including those of the deceased ancestors, come out from the lower realm. Distinct from both the Qingming Festival (in Spring) and Chung Yeung Festival (in Autumn) in which living descendants pay homage to their deceased ancestors, on Ghost Day, the deceased are believed to visit the living.

First part was a bit boring, but with the interjection of humor every once in a while.  Laughter was at its peak when Eugene Domingo did the 3 Types of acting in her Acting Book.  1) Elevator Acting - effective for Comedy. 2) TV Patrol Acting - effective for Soap Operas.  3) It is As is Acting - effective for Indie Films.  It was short, and I was like craving for more Ms. Eugene Domingo's funny antics.  Final verdict, I enjoyed it. 

I had been on my bed, had a lot of sleep.  To watch this film has been the only reason for me to to wake-up and leave the house,
