Post for Sunday: Shopping Mode Level-Up

We went to Duty Free with the Collas (less little Nate) and other nasnips namely, Jess and Ayie plus my older  sister Ate Lheng.  It was a night of level-up shopping + grocery style.  I was still in Elementary when I last stepped inside the Duty Free.  Papa was still alive back then and it was still located @ where the PAGCOR Casino Filipino is now standing .  But it was my first time to be inside the Duty Free now.   As what Kuya Vernon described the trip..."We were all virgins except for Ayie."

I got this picture online.  This is not my property, I just thought of sharing it since I used this image to prove to a friend that there is a Pink Ninja.  Google helped me.  I was just messing with him.  I keep on calling him Pink and in return, he calls me "Pogi" (handsome in English).

It was a fun Friday!!!  My college friend stayed at home overnight for a plan to visit our very pregnant "repatits" (college friend) on Saturday afternoon.  We decided to have a drink and since Glena (another college friend) was online in Singapore, we decided to do an online drinking session.  We were both drinking vodka.  But in our case, we were with 2 more company.  We were drinking with my cousin and my older brother.  It was almost an hour of fun talks and hot seat conversation.  We have to end it since our bottle of vodka is already empty.

We'll have another online session...this time, with more "repatits" online.

Back on the Game

My brother had stepped back on the court and played hoops last night.

It has been ages since the last time I saw him played basketball.

With a red shirt and shoes not fit for playing the game, he went in as part of the starting five.

He had a hard time at first, running is definitely not in his mad skills now.

But I can still say he still got some good stuffs goin' on.

A 3 point shot from down town, a fade-away jumper and a lay-up gave him

a humble 7 points total.  In addition to that, he also had a foul done intentionally.

(My blog for last night)

I've watched the film Fast Five (Fast & Furious 5) last night with my siblings.  I came from the office to the cinema, just enough to claim my reserved tickets that I got online.  Well, I've waited for about 20 minutes for my siblings at the IMAX Cinema lobby.  They got there almost 10 minutes before the film started.

I have seen all the F&F Films that's why I am so excited to see this fifth installment.  Besides, I love Han.  I am more excited because it's our first time to watch at SM Mall of Asia's Director's Club.  Watching the film on a La-Z Boy is the life!!!  Just the 30 of us in the cinema room.  Definitely a way to relax even for just 2 hours.

Movie Verdict:  I love It!!!  ♥♥♥♥♥ 5 Hearts.

            Alam kong ang bawat tao sa ating buhay ay binigyan ng Diyos ng kanya-kanyang dahilan.  At kung ano man ang dahilan niya sa pag bigay sa amin ng isang ina ay hindi na mahalaga.  Basta kami ay lubos na nagpapasalamat na ikaw ang inilaan Niya para sa amin.  Ngunit sa pagdaan ng panahon ay unti-unting nagiging malinaw sa amin ang dahilan Niya.

            Hindi naging madali ang bawat oras ng buhay natin.  Kinailangang lumayo si ama para sa kinabukasan ng pamilya.  Tiniis mong malayo siya at gampanang mag-isa ang tungkulin ng isang ama’t ina.  Naging matatag ka sa bawat unos na hinarap mong mag-isa.  Nagsilbing ilaw at haligi ng munting tahanan.  Na minsa’y rumupok at unti-unting nasira, ng si ama’y ginupo ng karamdaman na ninais mong maibsan ang hirap na naranasan.  Di mo man aminin, pero ramdam namin na pinanghinaan ka ng loob.  Subalit pinilit mo pa rin na tumayo at maging malakas para sa amin. 

Itinayo muli ang rumupok na tahanan at sinimulan ang bagong buhay.  Mas malalakas na alon at hagupit ng hangin ang iyong sinuong.  Hapdi at sakit ang nadarama sa bawat araw na lumipas.  Dugo at pawis ang naging kabayaran sa bawat butil ng grasya sa hapag-kainan.  At sa lahat ng pagsubok na ito’y ngiti parin ang hatid mo. 

Mag-isa mong ginapang ang edukasyon namin.  Mag-isa mo kaming itinawid sa tulay ng kamang-mangan.  Alam naming di mo na ito kaya ngunit sige pa rin.  Di ka nagpatalo sa bawat hirap na ipukol sa’yo.  Ikaw ang nagbigay sa amin ng lakas.  Ikaw pa rin ang nagbigay sa amin ng dahilan para ipagpatuloy ang buhay.  Dahil ipinakita mo sa amin kung papaano tumayo at ituloy ang nasimulan gaano man ito kahirap.

Hindi namin kinailangan na tumigil sa pag-abot ng aming mga pangarap sapagkat naririyan ka lagi na umaalalay sa amin.  Ikaw ang mga mata ng bulag naming desisyon.  Ikaw ang tenga sa bingi naming reaksyon.  Ikaw ang aming saklay sa pilay naming kalkulasyon.  At ikaw ang aming buhay at inspirasyon.  Sablay man kung minsan ang hirit ng buhay, nagagawan mo lagi ng paraan.  Kulang man kung susukatin ay napagkakasya mo pa rin.

Dahil sa pagmamahal at pag-aaruga na ibinigay mo sa amin, ang buhay namin ay hindi naligaw ng landas.  Sa mga sakripisyong ginawa mo para sa amin, kami ay buong-pusong nagpapasalamat.

Full Meal of Laughter

***My supposed-to-be blog Last night but got home too late from Sitcom Live Comedy Bar***

The nasnips had a Full Meal of Laughter served in a special platter.  We had a taste of Osang's unlimited amazing growls and a piece of Betty La Fea's soaring high notes.  The team brought us something new on our plate...the wonderful voice of Eva.  She wowed us when she sang "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and did justice on it.

It's our 3rd visit at Sitcom Las Pinas...and every single time, the gang never fails us.  We had a blast.  And what makes this one a more special, two among us got the chance to sing and got "okray-ed" by Osang and Friends.  Kudos to Tina and Rommel for surviving them, hahaha!!!  It was supposed to be Ayie on the stage, but he wasn't there with us.  Exam made him stayed at home.  Weh!?

And so we left the comedy bar with a huge smile on our faces.  It's our last time to spend a night with Icon and our first with Kuya Ron/Ate Tal for 2011.

Monday Misfortunes

My Monday never fails me!  It has always been this way.  It was a sunny morning, and I was hoping for a better start for the work week.  But as always, the bad vibes of the monday never cease to conquer our work stations. It was all because of the storm brought to us by our dear "Vic Sotto".  But even if it has always been this way for almost every monday...I still hope for a better day.  We are still wishing that one day, he'll greet our Monday with a perfect smile on his face.

I appreciate its taste when I had another sip when it was mixed with Coke.

Verdict:  I am not a whiskey person. 

Bonding with Friends

I miss my High school friends.  It has been almost a year since the last I had fun with them.  As always, a little bit of booze and videoke makes this get-together a blast.  And in every session we have, there is always a heart to heart interaction among us.  But this time, I was so hooked up with singing and wasn't able to join their conversation.
